There are good, kind people in this world and there are a few bad ones too. I lived with one once. Feels like a lifetime ago. Sometimes my mind wanders and I revisit that time in my life, which was the catalyst for “Lay Him Down.” The rootsy stomp and clap, and incredible playing on this song boost the revenge-filled lyrics.
