I wrote “Kindness” for someone who briefly came into my life. It was at a pivotal time for me, though I’m certain he didn’t know. Later that same person came under attack by another artist and a media circus ensued. He was treated so badly that it began to affect me because I had only seen beauty and kindness in him. I guess at the end of the day we really don’t know anything about anything; only what we feel to be true. I believe the universe expands with love and positivity and collapses into darkness when negativity abounds. And Kindness, it doesn’t cost a thing - so you know, put some out there.
